In the heart of Salzburg’s countryside, where alpine tradition meets modern hospitality, stands Hotel Oberforsthof. Our task: to create a corporate design that reflects this uniqueness and appeals to a range of target audiences. We began with a redesign of the logo, capturing the alpine essence – clear, modern, yet deeply rooted in nature.
Our brand mark was created to spark a desire for vacation and to symbolize the uniqueness of the Oberforsthof. Hand-drawn illustrations express the family-friendly spirit, while differentiated color palettes and image styles speak to the specific needs of business travelers and couples. Every element of the design tells a story – the story of the Oberforsthof, nestled in the picturesque alpine panorama.
One word, many worlds: The magic of the Oberforsthof language.
Our challenge was to develop a campaign that is both memorable and versatile. The solution: the “Ober” mechanic. We played with words, transforming the ordinary into something special.
“Überragend” became “Oberragend,” “Über den Wolken” became “Over den Wolken,” giving the Oberforsthof brand a new, vibrant identity. These words were hand-written to convey warmth and hospitality, elevating the brand to a personal, emotional level. This campaign is more than just a wordplay; it’s an invitation to experience the world of Oberforsthof from a new perspective.
Unity in diversity: The vibrant face of Oberforsthof
For Oberforsthof, we created a comprehensive design toolkit that can be flexibly applied to various marketing materials – from social media and the website to physical products like hotel clothing and room scents.
Each element is designed to consistently strengthen the Oberforsthof brand identity while still providing enough flexibility to respond to specific marketing needs. This toolkit enables the hotel’s marketing team to actively and creatively shape the brand, constantly telling new stories that highlight the uniqueness of Oberforsthof.
