This place in Stuttgart-Mitte might still be remembered by some as the restaurant with the sushi conveyor belt, while others have probably come to think of it as an eternal construction site. We’ve got insider info: Reopening soon! Birgit Grupp, owner of the opposite Paulaner at the old Postplatz, her niece Ayleen Brunner, and Jakob Transier have long since rented the two-story gastro property. For the interior concept, Hochburg friend and (gastro) interior designer Cyrus Ghanai was hired, and the local press has already reported on the upcoming upscale Austrian restaurant that will soon open its doors here.

The heavenly "Austria" naturally stirs up real longing in our agency: The mountains, the landscape, plenty of customers, fresh air, the good food, all those red-and-white "Everything's-still-right-with-the-world" things. A new Austrian restaurant in our hometown? WE need to do that branding! WHEN do we start?

Within a few days, we realized the branding with our core CD team.

With the experience from countless hospitality projects and an undying love for Austria, the Hochburg Special Design Force pulled out the entire toolkit. The concept was presented on Thursday, and by the following Friday, the menus were sent to print, as Brunner aims to open in December. A win-win situation for everyone and faster schnitzel for us.

Despite this "speed-up" corporate design version, the execution naturally followed the principle: "No ned hudla" – everything must be absolutely perfect and visually convincing on all levels. The name comes from Irmgard and Werner Brunner, (grand)parents of the new owner, who laid the foundation for the family’s culinary tradition with their first café in 1974. The dynamic "B" becomes the key signet, combining everything the restaurant will offer in the future: high-quality, upscale Austrian cuisine, family tradition, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Foodshooting
for Brunner's big debut!

After implementing the branding, we move directly into application. We initiate an elaborate food shooting and start populating the Brunner social media channels with our content. We’re already looking forward to the first team dinner at Brunner.

Shooting
