Blueprint. How bardusch is making its brand future-ready.

For over 150 years, the company from Ettlingen in Swabia has brought hygiene and safety to professional textile management. Across Europe, more than 90,000 customers rely on the hygiene-certified textile service. More than one million (!) workers wear bardusch workwear every day (!), which brings with it the highest level of responsibility for hygiene, quality, and comfort. The figures are impressive, the brand is present — thanks in part to the countless bardusch-branded trucks flying through the streets, delivering fresh, clean textiles and picking up used ones.

The mission for Hochburg was to further develop the brand appearance to be as clean and reliable as bardusch itself. The corporate design is meant to preserve the identity and tradition, while also allowing the company to shine in a more innovative and global light. Sometimes, evolution can be more effective than revolution. That was the case  with this project.

While the well-known logo remained untouched at its core – apart from a minimal handcrafted adjustment – all other branding elements were further developed or newly created for a consistent CI approach. The visual language and recognizability of the logo flowed into the unified bardusch brand world as a central graphic element – contemporary and effectively equipped for a long future

Consistent Design as a Strategic Statement.

The individual building blocks: the blue was intensified, almost cranked up like water from a pressure washer, and the typography was mixed according to the principles of tradition and modernity. The refreshing visual style, drawing from industry, craftsmanship, and manufacturing, combines purity, approachability, and respect for physical effort. Naturally, a magic box full of unique Hochburg icons in laundry style is a must.

The bardusch label, similar to a neck label in a sweater or shirt, becomes the key eye-catcher. Small or “unfolded” with more information, it can be used across all frames and in various positions—for ads, social media, documents, or even packaging and becomes one of the new signature tools of the cleaning pros’ brand presence.

Superclean and simple is now the fusion of the various assets for all communications, both external and internal. With just a few easy steps, bardusch can design, set up, and deploy the required materials—whether analog, digital, tactile, or virtual. A brand management par excellence now appropriately represents the champion of textile management.
