THE BRANDING

ASP Tech GmbH designs and builds very special things in the fields of automotive, trade fair, and set construction — driven by an unbridled spirit of innovation and action.
For example, a multimedia truck with a complex 3D installation and many other (im)possible technical gadgets for the company Festo — things you wouldn't have thought possible at first. Oh wow, that’s possible too?! Yes, we build the wow.In the ASP lab, James Bond’s Q meets MacGyver and Gyro Gearloose. From the showroom to custom builds and complex constructions with electric and hydraulic drives — things are planned and rolled out of the halls every single day.

Now, phenomenal tinkerers are often so deeply immersed in their craft that they forget the outside world. Or rather: how they are perceived from the outside. For strong perception, sharp branding is needed. That’s where Hochburg comes in. Maybe we can’t even hold a wrench properly ourselves, but armed with a mouse, a computer, lots of creativity and imagination, we can design a distinctive corporate identity. That, in turn, has something of deconstruction and construction. First, you take the brand apart, dig down to its core, and then build the new identity on top. In this case, we’re even giving a little something back — because ASP was able to realize a few special interior wishes in the Hochburg office. The connection was already there, and the feeling for the brand was already present.

The new CI toolkit. Edgy and high-tech. Now the pros are coming.

The new brand identity should immediately suggest: At ASP, you’re dealing with an innovative high-tech company – not just a bunch of quirky soldering iron freaks. ASP has the knowledge and the skills to turn even the most complex requirements into reality. We build dreams. Distinctive self-confidence meets Swabian understatement. Here comes the tech-stepper. The wide, edgy image logo acts as a multifunctional tool key with dominant signal effect. Message: They can do it. Based on this massive logo, a cleanly constructed brand language was developed — with a color world and typography that can be adapted and applied to all necessary tools.

From hard hats to trucks, from shipping envelopes to lanyards and business cards — the word-image mark makes a clear statement on every medium. We experienced firsthand just how quick and agile this company is: During the presentation, the ASP boss already ran the new logo through for the containers. The next day, the freshly branded monster machine was standing there, immediately making an impact. Thanks to the company’s own plotter, all ASP trucks were redesigned inside out with the new CI within just four days. So it seems they were quite satisfied with this Hochburg construction — and for us, it was fascinating to witness a new corporate identity being put to use in daily operations so immediately. Fast & furious. Anytime again.
