Karo Kauer Store and Café Opening – Sept. 2022

Born to build an empire. Whether Karo Kauer offers small rolls in her new café and store at the beautifully revitalized Buntweberei site (Eislingen/Göppingen) was something we unfortunately couldn't figure out at the opening (the wine, you understand) – but she herself only bakes the big ones. Her career path seems limitless, the sky is the limit. The turbo vehicle was Instagram, and thanks to her tremendous effort, Insta posts evolved into an influencer business and eventually a company structure with 50 employees.

Now, she has opened her own Karo Kauer café and store (and also established her new headquarters at this location). In a state-of-the-art metropolitan ambiance (Eislingen or LA, who knows?), her own fashion collections are offered, and guests are treated to breakfast creations and coffee. Always in focus, from the huge three-dimensional entrance emblem to the tissue paper and the sweet touches in every corner: The new KK brand design, a creation by Hochburg. Phew!

As designer dudes and dudettes like us are usually pretty tough and hard to impress within the good-taste bubble (fashion, art, interior design, architecture, etc.), we have to admit that seeing our carefully crafted toolbox for Karo Kauer – full of logos, typography, color variants, claims, and content presets – being adapted and taken to the next level in real-life everyday use at this location left us speechless with excitement – big wow! You could almost see the heart-eye emojis over the visiting Hochburg team.

What started with a joint breakfast in our office, sealed with a presentation, and eventually rolled out, is now taking on a huge momentum that even we couldn't have imagined during the creative process. Hochburg says Chapeau to Karo Kauer and Team, sends our best regards, and wishes them a bright future as they continue their march forward.

And yes, as already hinted, the Karo Kauer wine went down very well – we happily tested it ourselves.
