Gray Monday in Germany, physically present, mentally still in Mallorca: For the second time, we settled into a finca with the whole team and kept various Hochburg things flowing for a week. Just in a different place, one that brings a few comforts with it. The daily routine: get up early, get some work done early, be by the pool early, send some pictures out into the world, gather a lot of love and maybe a bit of envy, and so on and so forth.
It was once again a very effective, productive workweek. Because the team works. Because Hochburg works. Because the clients are right. Because our server works. No cloud in the Mallorcan sky, except for the Hochburg data. Everyone sat for a week in the same paradise with their laptops on their laps, well-stretched and mentally aired out, highly concentrated and highly relaxed. And all of that without a work buzzword. We call it work.

Still thinking about the Mallorcan outings: Between productive hours on the laptop, the Hochburg team ventured into nature and the charming towns of the island. Enjoying great drinks and food together, soaking in the atmosphere, and ending the afternoon by the pool – that was the daily flow. Sun, team, after-work joy, and even more sunsets in our minds. Because where there’s team spirit, there’s also leisure, good mood, and there we are. Highly concentrated at work, highly relaxed afterwards – a balance that just works.
And so, each day became a real highlight: Whether in small taverns, with tapas and Mallorcan wine, or grilling at the finca with a view of the mountains. The conversations went far beyond the everyday office routine, full of new ideas and genuine laughter. In those moments, the team spirit that connects us showed, as well as the inspiration that grows from the shared experience. A week in Mallorca that will stay with us for a long time – in our heads, in our calendars, and in our team.
